On Monday, speedboats belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards approached two American ships to within around 60 metres. The crews of the USS <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Firebolt<\/span> and the USCG <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Baranoff<\/span> had, according to the US, repeatedly called on the Iranians to turn away via radio and megaphone. Only after the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Firebolt<\/span> warning shots were fired, the Iranian boats moved away from the American boats.<br \/>\nThe incident is not the first of its kind.
