According to NATO, this means that only the Spanish destroyer <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\"> M\u00e9ndez N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/span> in this group. The SNMG 2 is commanded by the Spanish flotilla admiral Manuel Aguirre Alderegu\u00eda.<br \/>\nFor German eyes, the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Kemal rice<\/span> is no stranger: Although it was built by G\u00f6lc\u00fck Naval Shipyard at the end of the 1990s, the Meko-200 design was created by Blohm+Voss. Two of the Turkish ships were also built there. The last of four ships in the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Barbaros<\/span>-class, the Turkish Navy provided the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Kemal rice<\/span> into service in June 2000. With a length of 118 metres, it displaces around 3100 tonnes. Her crew consists of 180 people. The frigate is armed with two Mk 41 Mod 8 VLS launchers, from which Sea Sparrow missiles can be fired.
