Bundeswehr running team for those affected in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

In view of the great destruction caused by the floods and the needs of the people in the affected regions, the Bundeswehr and<\/span><\/span> Reservists<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> with technical support from <\/span><\/span>Fairever<\/span><\/span> Events and<\/span><\/span>d<\/span><\/span> Artiva<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>from 30.07. to 01.08.2021 <\/span><\/span><\/strong>at short notice<\/span><\/span> Donation run organised. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The income from the entry fee<\/span><\/span> go in full to the Soldiers and Veterans Foundation (SVS)<\/strong> of the German Armed Forces Association (<\/strong><\/span><\/span>DBwV<\/span><\/span><\/strong>)<\/strong>. You support<\/span><\/span>t<\/span><\/span>\u00a0The organisation is now providing those affected by the disaster with financial assistance for the accommodation of homeless flood victims.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Even in the first 24 hours <\/span><\/span>after activation have<\/span><\/span> Over 100 runners registered for the charity run. The <\/span><\/span>is a great success and shows how willing the public is to help!\"<\/span><\/span> so Lieutenant Colonel Oliver Muhs<\/strong>one of the founders of the running team<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The patronage for the charity run has Major General Gert Nultsch<\/strong>Military Vice President of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To be completed <\/span><\/span>runners can choose distances of 5, 10, 15, 21 or 42 kilometres. Furthermore, any distance can be walked and there is also a children's run over one kilometre. The standard entry fee is five euros. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
