Christian Bock, Commander of Operational Flotilla 1 and Director of the NATO Centre of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters in Kiel, is leaving his post to take up the post of Director of Training at the Bundeswehr Command and Staff College in Hamburg. Bock is also Chairman of the German Maritime Institute, which publishes the magazine <em>marine forum<\/em> and which is behind the online presence of the same name.<\/p>\n<p>Flotilla Admiral Henning Faltin, Head of Operations at the Rostock Naval Command, will take over Bock's position. The commander of the M\u00fcrwik Naval School, Flotilla Admiral Wilhelm Tobias Abry, takes over this position.
