The F900 is a professional printer that is also suitable for the production of large parts. It can process 16 materials, from thermoplastics to high-performance polymers. The 2.7 x 1.7 x 2 metre devices weigh around 2.9 tonnes. The systems can be used to produce elaborate and complex spare parts for ships and aeroplanes on site. The practically immediate availability significantly increases the operational readiness of the units. In addition to the printers themselves, the total price also includes costs for installation, training and technical support.<\/p>\n<p>A 3D printer was installed on board a Navy ship for test purposes for the first time back in 2014. On board the amphibious landing ship USS <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Essex<\/span> initial experience with the harsh environment at sea was gained.
