The training ship, which was commissioned in 1986, is on a training voyage with 454 crew members - including 189 cadets - and is visiting the Hanseatic city of Hamburg for the 25th time. During this training voyage, the cadets of the Brazilian Navy will be confronted with the realisation of the training contents of the previous four years of their intensive cadet training. The training voyage on the 130m long, 13.5m wide and 3,900 tonne displacement frigate is scheduled to last six months. The training project is highly regarded by the cadets and midshipmen of the Brazilian Navy as a highlight, as it gives them the opportunity to put their acquired skills and abilities to the test in practice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The voyage will take her from Brazil via the Cape Verde Islands to Hamburg.
