A three-hour programme is planned for her. The Minister will gain a personal impression of the practical training of the officer candidates. In personal discussions with soldiers, the Minister will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the daily routine of officer training at the M\u00fcrwik Naval Academy.<\/p>\n<p>The first stop on her tour will be the ship handling simulator, which was modernised in 2018. Here she will be given an overview of the training of German Navy bridge personnel. The minister will then attend a pre-sailing training session at the school's training mast. Here she will learn <strong>the future cadets of the \"Gorch Fock\" are going to stay ashore in the rigging,<\/strong> in order to be able to master important manoeuvres in advance.
