The compatibility of family and career is now an integral part of modern personnel management. Family-, child- and carer-friendly conditions create a family-friendly working environment that meets the expectations of an employer. This also applies to the higher civilian authorities within the remit of the Federal Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n<p>The BAAINBw has been undergoing the extensive auditing process of berufundfamilie Service GmbH since the end of last year. Firstly, the status quo of the family-friendly measures on offer was determined. In addition to setting up parent-child workrooms and in-house childcare facilities at the Koblenz\/Lahnstein site, the BAAINBw also offers its employees the opportunity to work from any location. In the further certification process, additional measures were defined, which were set out in a target agreement as the basis for further development.
