His order of the day on Monday refers to the Compass Marine guide, a work compiled over the past four years on the self-image of members of the armed forces:<\/p>\n

We are the instrument and arm of our state. Our uniform symbolises this. We are aware that our appearance and actions express the state's self-image and political will.<\/em><\/p>\n

We express our state through who we are and how we act. Our mission fulfilment and our success are therefore also dependent on the commitment, expertise and professionalism of each individual.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

In conclusion, Kaack calls for: \"Let us all - each in our own place - continue to fulfil our tasks with prudence, professionalism, drive and confidence.\"<\/em><\/p>\n
