The crew \"Charlie\" has a new commander. On Thursday, 28 July 2022, Corvette Captain Pascal St\u00f6rk (40) handed over command of the crew \"Charlie\" to Corvette Captain Christian Rodust (37). The ceremony was led by the commander of the 1st Corvette Squadron, Frigate Captain Kenneth Harms (42).<\/p>\n
Korvettenkapit\u00e4n St\u00f6rk was commander for around two years, during which time he was also deployed to UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) and has now been back home with his crew since March. \"I still have fond memories of Christmas Eve, when we enjoyed our Christmas dinner with the entire crew in the sunshine and ran our own Christmas market with the support unit,\" says the outgoing commander, looking back. In future, the Bremen native will be serving in France and will be posted to a French naval school. His successor, Corvette Captain Rodust, will be back in his military home when he takes over command. The naval officer has already served in various roles on corvettes, most recently as first officer of the watch.
