Following the acquisition of iXblue by the Gorg\u00e9 Group at the end of September, the ECA Group and iXblue announced on the opening day of EuroNaval, 18 October 2022, that both companies will operate under a new joint brand: Exail.<\/p>\n<p>This brings together two different areas of technology. iXblue offers navigation and platform stabilisation systems. The global group also offers photonics solutions for the aerospace, science, medical, communication and quantum technology sectors.<\/p>\n<p>ECA Group specialises in automation and control technologies in the maritime sector. Accordingly, Exail is focussing on the fields of marine and other maritime applications, aviation, photonics, military and industrial applications. The company employs 1,500 people worldwide and is active in over 80 countries. It is part of Groupe Gorg\u00e9, a family business specialising in high technology.<\/p>\n<p>Exail has set itself the goal of responding to numerous challenges in today's world, be they of a security, environmental or socio-political nature.
