The frigate-sized (160 metres - 5,500 tonnes) combat ship of the future, built and operated with maximum environmental responsibility, is called the \"Blue Shark\" for the time being - in other words, \"a combat beast with the blue environmental seal\" on it!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The concept ship is to consist of the latest technological building blocks, which will be optimised for use, but also for environmental protection at sea. The design is intended to be everything that is desirable: developable and adaptable, fast and manoeuvrable, unobtrusive and assertive, efficient and resilient (economical and resistant), in other words: ecodesigned for naval operations!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Otherwise, it is the finest in weapons technology on the Seine: networked and twisted, with offensive and defensive armament. It is also equipped with an autonomy of months and simplified maintenance programmes, high sea stability thanks to multiple hulls (trimaran) and low radiation thanks to a reduction in back radiation above and whisper drive below.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Naval Group's engineers have calculated that environmentally friendly construction methods and operating procedures will reduce CO2 emissions (the \"carbon footprint\") to between half and a quarter of today's frigate types.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Nothing that can't be promised today. But the best thing is the video and the hull design: The return of the Fierce-Looking-Factor (post-war battleship silhouette).
