{"id":34609,"date":"2023-12-24T12:25:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-24T11:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marineforum.online\/?p=34609"},"modified":"2025-09-29T21:09:17","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T19:09:17","slug":"pentagon-baltic-states-sign-5-year-roadmaps-with-the-usa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marineforum.online\/en\/pentagon-baltische-staaten-unterzeichnen-5-jahres-roadmaps-mit-den-usa\/","title":{"rendered":"Pentagon: Baltic states sign 5-year defence cooperation roadmap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The US Deputy Secretary of Defence, responsible for international security affairs, hosted a triple signing ceremony for the bilateral roadmaps in defence cooperation with representatives from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in mid-December 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The basis for strong relations between the Baltic States and the United States is long-term and multifaceted cooperation. The roadmap is intended to guide the national security cooperative relationship through 2028 as the United States works to improve capabilities and interoperability between the U.S. and Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian militaries. This year, the German Navy conducted \"Northern Coasts 2023\" with its command and control organisation <abbr title=\"German Maritime Forces\"><span class=\"is-aural\">German Maritime Forces (DEU MARFOR) in Rostock<\/span><\/abbr>.
