Bundeswehr Bekleidungsmanagement GmbH has launched a competitive tender for the procurement of a \"naval clothing system\". This was reported on the European online procurement platform TED on 13 February. The expert platform hartpunkt.de also reported the news.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Several different items of clothing are to be procured according to the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Result of troop testing with a weighting of 40 per cent<\/li>\n<li>Quality of the offer sample with a weighting of 15 per cent<\/li>\n<li>Delivery deadlines for follow-up call-offs from the framework agreement with a weighting of 10 per cent<\/li>\n<li>Prize with a weighting of 35 per cent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>According to the TED report, the Marine clothing system consists of the following parts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wet weather jacket, navy blue<\/li>\n<li>Wetness protection trousers, navy blue<\/li>\n<li>Board and combat suit (BGA) trousers, heavy, navy blue<\/li>\n<li>Board and battle dress (BGA) jacket, heavy, navy blue<\/li>\n<li>Board and combat suit (BGA) Combatshirt, heavy, navy blue<\/li>\n<li>Board and combat suit (BGA) trousers, light, sand<\/li>\n<li>Board and combat suit (BGA) jacket, light, sand<\/li>\n<li>Cold protection jacket, navy blue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A new uniform variant had already been introduced before the frigate \"Bayern\" travelled to East Asia in 2021. The navy received summer suits, or a tropical uniform as it was previously known.
