Appendix 2<\/p>\n

Election procedure as at 01.04.2024 General Meeting 2024<\/h3>\n

Information on the conduct of elections during the 2024 General Meeting<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The procedure for the election of personnel to the Board of Directors, the full MOV Board of Directors and the election of auditors is based on the statutory periods of office in accordance with sections 7 and 10 of the Articles of Association.<\/p>\n

For the first time, block elections can be held this year for the election of assessors and auditors. This was made possible by a corresponding amendment to the Articles of Association at the 2023 Annual General Meeting.<\/p>\n

Elections are based on a simple majority of the votes cast by the members present.<\/p>\n

In detail:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board
\n<\/u>(to be elected until 2026):<\/h4>\n

Former Rear Admiral Thorsten K\u00e4hler will stand for re-election. As there is only one nomination, the Chairman is to be elected by open individual ballot.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assessor on the Board of Directors
\n<\/u>(to be elected in open block voting until 2026):<\/h4>\n

Captain Oliver J\u00fclke is standing for re-election as 2nd assessor.<\/p>\n

Mrs Frigate Captain Tanja Merkl is standing for re-election as the 4th assessor to be elected.<\/p>\n

Corvette Captain Fabian Dilly is standing for re-election as the 6th assessor.<\/p>\n

Frigate Captain Elmar Bornkessel is no longer available for the 8th assessor to be elected. Mrs Frigate Captain Jill Nippe is standing for election.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Auditor <\/u>(to be elected by 2025):<\/h4>\n

FKpt aD Peter Lochbaum and KptzS dR Frank Herboth are standing for re-election for the two auditor posts. An open block vote is held.<\/p>\n

For those candidates who cannot be present in person at the General Meeting, declarations of consent to accept the election have been submitted in the event of election.<\/p>\n

Preparations for the 2024 Annual General Meeting on 19\/20 April 2024 in Wilhelmshaven are almost complete.

\nI would like to point out that the Hotel R\u00fcstersieler Hof not<\/u> as the streets are too narrow for a bus. However, the Maadebr\u00fccke bridge and the Hotel zur Sch\u00f6nen Aussicht are within easy walking distance of R\u00fcstersiel.
\nThe car park situation in Wilhelmshaven is extremely unsatisfactory.
\nThe prices for a public pitch are as follows 2,00\u20ac<\/strong> per hour. Please include this in your planning.<\/p>\n

Sensitive documents such as the budget estimate for 2024 and the list of participants will be sent to members by email. I will send them not<\/u> in the marine forum <\/em>and publish it on the homepage.
\nIf you are unable to attend the meeting but still require the information, I will of course send you these documents on request.<\/p>\n
