The world's largest ship-owning nation in terms of carrying capacity is obviously profiting more from the lucrative sale of its outdated ships and at the same time enabling Moscow to circumvent sanctions. Greek shipowners are selling their depreciated tankers - mostly 15 to 20 years old - at a profit to mysterious buyers with connections to Russia.<\/p>\n<p>A dubious business model: keyword \"shadow fleet\", but not prohibited; and certainly enterprising.
