No further details were published. The ship, which entered service in 1991 <strong data-start=\"491\" data-end=\"507\">\"Alexandria\"<\/strong> (6,900 tonnes) is <strong data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"557\">conventional weapons<\/strong> equipped.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"627\">North Korea's reaction: harsh criticism of the USA<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"973\">North Korea's state media reacted immediately and described the arrival of the US submarine as a <strong data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"752\">\"undeniable threat\"<\/strong>. They threw the <strong data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"776\">USA<\/strong> of further fuelling tensions on the Korean peninsula and once again warn against <strong data-start=\"868\" data-end=\"888\">\"Countermeasures\"<\/strong>. It was also said that Washington openly ignored the <strong data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"970\">North Korea's security concerns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1423\">The last US submarine to be built in <strong data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1013\">Busan<\/strong> arrived, the <strong data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1058\">USS \"Vermont\" (SSN-792)<\/strong>a <strong data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1083\">Virginia class<\/strong>-submarine, which was <strong data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1123\">Pearl Harbor, Hawaii<\/strong> is stationed in South Korea. It visited South Korea in <strong data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1183\">September 2024<\/strong>to reaffirm America's commitment to the region, according to the <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1267\">U.S. Navy<\/strong>.
