The supplier is the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence &amp; Aerospace. Denmark intends to equip the Iver Huitfeldt-class frigates with the naval missile.<\/p>\n<p>The NSM was developed by Kongsberg together with MBDA. The 407 kg missile can reach a high subsonic speed with its rocket engine and engage targets at distances of more than 250 km with its 125 kg warhead. The missile is deployed in numerous NATO navies as well as in Japan and Australia. Germany has ordered 2022 NSMs for its F124, F125 and F126 frigates, which are due to be delivered soon.
