This joint procurement programme for small combat boats is also open to other NATO members with comparable equipment requirements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"942\">Finland already operates a fleet of twelve boats of this type as <strong data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"631\">Jehu class<\/strong> in. At the beginning of April, Vilnius, together with the Finnish shipyard <strong data-start=\"697\" data-end=\"715\">Marine Alutech<\/strong> announced that Lithuania has now ordered two of these multi-purpose boats. The boats based on the model <strong data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"818\">Watercat M18<\/strong> based units are intended for the Lithuanian Navy and will be assigned to the <strong data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"923\">Coastal defence battalion<\/strong> be assigned.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"1375\">The boats are 20 metres long, displace 32 tonnes and reach speeds of up to 45 knots. They are equipped with remote-controlled heavy machine guns and <strong data-start=\"1116\" data-end=\"1130\">Spike NLOS<\/strong>-It is equipped with a guided missile - a precision missile with a range of up to 32 kilometres.
