This was neatly staged by a formation run with the \"Hainan\", the type ship of this class, and another four dock landing ships of the Yuzhao class (Type 071, 210 metres, 20,000 tonnes) on the doorstep of the Southern Fleet in the South China Sea. In a landing operation, the four Yushen-class carriers are primarily responsible for airmobile transport and the eight Yuzhao LPDs for surface landing traffic. And these are only the newest and largest landing units! It should also be mentioned that the first example of the next generation of large carrier platforms, the Type 076 with electromagnetic catapults for fighter aircraft and drones, was launched in December 2024 and is currently being equipped.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Anl\u00e4sslich des 98.
