On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the PLAN (People's Liberation Army - Navy), the \"Hubei\" with hull number 34, the fourth of the large amphibious helicopter carriers of the Yushen class (type 075, 237 metres, 31,000 tonnes), was presented to the public. This was neatly staged by a formation run with the \"Hainan\", the type ship of this class, and another four dock landing ships of the Yuzhao class (Type 071, 210 metres, 20,000 tonnes) on the doorstep of the Southern Fleet in the South China Sea. In a landing operation, the four Yushen-class carriers are primarily responsible for airmobile transport and the eight Yuzhao LPDs for surface landing traffic. And these are only the newest and largest landing units!
