According to the project manager at FMV, the primary aim is to implement measures to increase maritime safety and adapt to the needs of the new amphibious battalions.<br \/>\nThe new boats have improved capabilities and are robust and easy to handle. The boats offer space for eight emergency personnel and two crew members or the option of transporting small amounts of cargo. All 20 boats are to be delivered by 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Only recently, Sweden ordered 22 Combat Boat 90 (CB90) combat boats from Saab.
