Dr.-Ing. habil. Eva-Maria Kern, and Diehl Defence CEO Helmut Rauch signed a joint declaration of intent a few days ago during a visit to the \u00dcberlingen site. The potential areas focus on particularly pressing future fields, from technical - such as aerospace activities, information and production technologies - to non-technical in the field of economics. Through the exchange of knowledge and resources between university and industry, new paths and solutions are created that meet both national and international challenges.<\/p>\n<div><strong>Helmut Rauch<\/strong> emphasises the value of the partnership, which combines academic excellence and industrial expertise to drive developments that strengthen the armed forces and Europe in challenging times. <strong>Prof Eva-Maria Kern<\/strong> underlines the importance of joint research and knowledge transfer for technological sovereignty and defence capability. Diehl Defence and UniBw M have already been working together successfully for many years on studies and individual topics.
