Science and industry must also react to this and work more closely together in order to secure Germany's and Europe's ability to act in the long term.<\/p>\n<p>On 3 March, the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich and IABG set an example and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for closer cooperation. President Prof Eva-Maria Kern signed the document on behalf of the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich. Managing Director Prof Rudolf F. Schwarz signed on behalf of IABG.<\/p>\n<p>The thematic focus of the collaboration will primarily be on particularly relevant future fields - in technically demanding disciplines such as information and communication technologies, aerospace and systems engineering. In the next step, concrete project plans will be drawn up for more in-depth interdisciplinary collaboration in research and development.
