This adds another player in the field of maritime high technology to the industrial centre of Riga. The demand for high-performance maritime security solutions is increasing and should provide economic impetus as well as further strengthen the security policy capabilities of Latvia and its partners.<\/p>\n
The catamaran is designed for patrols, surveillance missions and specialised operations where speed, stability and efficiency are crucial. With this project, the company is focussing on a versatile platform that is tailored to the requirements of modern deployment scenarios. Production will take place in Latvia and promote the creation of qualified jobs and engineering expertise. A modern infrastructure for composite shipbuilding is also planned in order to secure technology transfer and industrial value creation in the long term. To realise the project, Latitude Naval Technologies is expanding its team and is looking for specialists in the fields of engineering, shipbuilding and technology.<\/p>\n
Latitude Yachts has more than two decades of experience in the design and construction of various maritime platforms and has developed extensive expertise in the areas of engineering and production through international partnerships in Europe and the USA.
