Among other things, the crew took part in Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 - a total of 82 days without going ashore. \"They have proven that the pandemic has no impact on the operational readiness of the navy,\" emphasised Frigate Captain Terje Schmitt-Eliassen, Commander of the 3rd Mine Countermeasures Squadron.
\nTogether with the NATO unit, the crew searched for contaminated sites in the Baltic Sea and was able to neutralise seven mines.
\nLieutenant Captain Florian F\u00f6rster, commander of the minehunting boat \"Sulzbach-Rosenberg\", is satisfied after entering the harbour: \"Even under corona conditions, we have shown what we can do!\" Due to strict NATO regulations, the unit also kept to itself in the harbours.
