Among other things, the crew took part in Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 - a total of 82 days without going ashore. \"They have proven that the pandemic has no impact on the operational readiness of the navy,\" emphasised Frigate Captain Terje Schmitt-Eliassen, Commander of the 3rd Mine Countermeasures Squadron.<br \/>\nTogether with the NATO unit, the crew searched for contaminated sites in the Baltic Sea and was able to neutralise seven mines.<br \/>\nLieutenant Captain Florian F\u00f6rster, commander of the minehunting boat \"Sulzbach-Rosenberg\", is satisfied after entering the harbour: \"Even under corona conditions, we have shown what we can do!\" Due to strict NATO regulations, the unit also kept to itself in the harbours.
