The naval aviators took delivery of the first examples in mid-2020. However, it will be some time before the Sea Lion is available to the fleet as an operational helicopter. However, another hurdle has now been overcome: On 17 March, a Sea Lion landed on a task force provider for the first time. The Bonn was moored at the pier in Wilhelmshaven when the 79+55 touched down.
