The Flensburg-based company has taken over the German company GEKE Schutztechnik GmbH. An entry point for solutions for the navy too?<\/p>\n<p>GEKE Schutztechnik, based in Lichtenau, is a provider of military protection technology solutions. From its base in North Rhine-Westphalia, GEKE has developed in recent years into a globally active company for the design, production and supply of modular armour and protective equipment. GEKE has many patents that will improve the protection of soldiers, large defence equipment and platforms. The products include interior fragmentation protection, roof protection systems and mine and side protection solutions as well as highly effective <em>Add-on Armour<\/em> against <em>Improvised Explosive Devices<\/em> (IED), kinetic energy (KE) or shaped charge threats. Other core competences of GEKE are prototype construction, testing, production and technical support.
