The ship had previously been forced to stop off the mouth of the Seine due to a storm in international waters. The <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Admiral Kasatonov<\/span> is the youngest frigate in the Russian Navy. She belongs to the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Admiral Gorschkov<\/span>-class (project 22350), of which two ships have already been delivered and four more are currently under construction. At 135 metres in length, the units displace around 5400 tonnes. The main armament consists of two vertical launch systems with eight cells each, from which the Kalibr missile, among other things, can be fired.<br \/>\nAccompanied by the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Admiral Kasatonov<\/span> from the rescue tug <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Nikolai Chiker<\/span> and the tanker <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">Vyazma<\/span>. She has been on her first long sea voyage since 30 December 2020.
