Two SWATH@A&R pilot tenders - new build for Nederlands Loodswezen by Abeking and Rasmussen 20 years after the Nederlands Loodswezen put the first of two 25m SWATH@A&R (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) into service, this long-standing good relationship has been sealed with a new contract. The latest generation of 25m SWATH@A&R pilot tenders were commissioned on Friday 18 October 2024 and will enter service off the Dutch coast in the coming years. New "KORA" electronic warfare system commissioned The Bundeswehr Procurement Office has commissioned the delivery and integration of new electronic warfare systems (EloKa) on the Sachsen-class frigates (F124). After a total service life of more than 40 years, the German Navy's previous standard EloKa system "FL 1800S-II" will be replaced on some units. Norway: Maritime precautions for parts of the Arctic

The Norwegian state-owned company Equinor is planning a comprehensive emergency preparedness programme for the oil and gas fields in the south-western Barents Sea. On the initiative of the Barents Sea Operation Cooperation, a new collaboration is being established between Vår Energi, the operator of the Goliat oil field (around 85 kilometres northwest of the town of Hammerfest), and Equinor, which also has a stake in the oil field.
