Royal Navy sends two patrol boats to Jersey
A further dispute is brewing between the UK and France after Brexit. French fishermen do not want to comply with the British government's stipulation that only vessels that have a proven history of fishing in the waters around Jersey are allowed to do so. To express their displeasure, around 100 fishing boats on the French side are ready to set off for Jersey on Thursday. Their destination is the harbour of St Helier, which is not to be blockaded.
