On 6 and 7 March, the Marine Nationale and Marina Militare held a joint submarine hunting exercise in the waters of the central Mediterranean. The Italian frigates Alpino and Margottini and the French Languedoc were involved. The three ships are Fremm frigates, a joint Italian-French project.
