North Sea - E-charging station for ships in test operation
The Belgian offshore wind farm operator Parkwind recently began testing a charging station for ships, which is connected to its own wind farm "Nobelwind" via a transformer station. The electricity is supplied by 50 wind turbines installed 47 kilometres off the coast of Belgium.
