Rolls-Royce extends TBO intervals for mtu engines
From a Rolls-Royce press release At the International Workboat Show in New Orleans at the beginning of December, Rolls-Royce presented the latest generation of mtu Series 4000 propulsion engines. Depending on the load, these engines can be operated for up to 96,000 hours before they are due for their first major overhaul. They therefore make an important contribution to conserving resources and reducing life cycle costs.
