Major construction site in the Baltic Sea - offshore expansion

The German electricity transmission system operator 50Hertz plans to invest several billion euros in the expansion of the offshore electricity grid in the German Baltic Sea by 2028. The newly planned wind farms are expected to more than double the capacity there to three gigawatts by 2028. The Federal Network Agency has awarded a licence for another Baltic Sea wind farm to the French company Total Energies, which is planned to be built by 2030. Fishtown Guard 2024

Bundeswehr exercises in the city of Bremerhaven As part of the Fishtown Guard 2024 exercise, the Bremen Homeland Security Company, under the leadership of Bremen State Command, will conduct an exercise in the city of Bremerhaven. Arctic sea route revitalised
