The countries bordering the Baltic Sea have agreed to step up measures to improve the devastating state of one of the world's most polluted marine areas. The aim of the Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP) and the European Commission is to protect 30% of the Baltic Sea by 2030. The new measures were adopted at a ministerial meeting in Lübeck on Wednesday under the auspices of the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM), the Commission for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Baltic Sea. Donnerstag, den 28. Oktober 2021, übernimmt die Deutsche Marine in der Hanse-Kaserne in Rostock den Neubau des zukünftigen Führungszentrums der Marine (FüZ M). Im Neubau des Multifunktionsgebäudes in der Kopernikusstraße werden die wichtigsten Führungsebenen der Marine zusammengefasst. Im April 2017 fand der Baubeginn des Neubaus statt, der für rund 460 Personen Platz bietet. Der Neubau mit rund 120 m x 35 m hat eine Bruttogrundfläche von ca. 13.600 m². Am 14. Oktober wurde im Rahmen eines Nachwuchskolloquiums für Militärgeschichte an der Universität Potsdam der Förderpreis für Militärgeschichte und Militärtechnikgeschichte durch Generalmajor Gert Nultsch, Vizepräsident des Bundesamtes für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw), mit musikalischer Begleitung des Musikkorps der Bundeswehr verliehen. Das BAAINBw würdigt mit dieser Auszeichnung herausragende wissenschaftliche Arbeiten in den Bereichen Militärgeschichte und Militärtechnikgeschichte. Russia is currently developing a monitoring system for the Arctic coastal zone of the Federation. This system is intended to ensure the safety of shipping traffic in the North-East Passage. The "Tactical Missile Weapons Group" (Takticheskoe Raketnoe Wooruschenie) is responsible for its development. According to a representative of the group, the system is currently in the concept phase.
