Creating up-to-date content for marineforum.online is sometimes not that easy. The ELB BUREAUX brings the content online. Hamburg in the rain. Harbour district, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall squeezed into the skyline. No doorbell sign, no inviting neon sign. The path leads into the backyard of an old canal house, where hustle and bustle prevails in modern, glass-fronted offices. Behind the marineforum's digital presence is a team of six led by Art Director Hakan Savasogan and Account Director Michaela Veers. Both have travelled together from Schleswig-Holstein via Lower Saxony to what is now Elb Bureaux in Hamburg. Six colleagues and three other external employees are part of the team and realise creative projects or the presence of marineforum on social platforms. Wish list with cancellation potential

With the 2035+ target vision, the Navy is presenting its vision of a long-term organisation. Not all projects will be realised - for various reasons. The navy's hopes for one or two, often long overdue, modernisations were pinned on the special assets of the Bundeswehr. However, the expectations of the smallest branch of the armed forces were muted enough. Most wearers of the blue scarf did not assume that the number of flagstaffs would increase significantly or that the capability potential would change significantly as a result of the Bundeswehr Special Fund. Today, as a hundred years ago, it is crucial that the naval armament is appropriate to the threat. But this is precisely what the German navy lacked. "If you want peace, arm for war". When, if ever, in 175 years of naval history was the fleet equipped to meet the threat, and are we today? The image of war is the basic idea of the nature of a possible future war, its manifestations, means, intensity and the effects on military warfare. It is the backdrop for a general strategy with strategic objectives and the resulting consequences for the orientation of military means at operational and tactical level. If naval warfare assets effectively support an overall strategy, the fleet is positioned in line with the threat....

On inspection in the port of Hamburg

Internationally agreed rules are designed to protect seagoing vessels and their crews from external dangers. The inspectors from the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency work with their police colleagues to ensure compliance. "Thank you very much for your cooperation, captain!" Manfred Feindt concludes the inspection on board a container ship in the port of Hamburg. Feindt is a nautical inspector at the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) and works in the S 42 Maritime Safety Division. Today he has three police officers from the Hamburg Waterway Police in his entourage. They are new to their posts and are accompanying him to learn what is important...
