Turkish navy defuses floating mine

On Saturday, the Turkish Ministry of Defence announced that a sea mine floating in the Black Sea off the entrance to the Bosporus had been defused. The mine was discovered by fishermen, as reported by Reuters. Turkish navy units are currently patrolling the Bosphorus more intensively anyway and have quickly deployed a minehunter to the area. Romania joins IMSC

Major International Maritime Security Coalition (IMSC) in the Middle East As the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) announced on 26 March, Romania has joined a multinational maritime coalition. The IMSC was established in 2019 to prevent attacks on merchant ships in the Middle East. The IMSC is headquartered in Bahrain with the US 5th Fleet. So far, eight nations are partners. Frigate 126 receives naval gun OTO 127/64 Vulcano
