"Naval Mine Counter Measures" is an ongoing technological issue that is of particular relevance worldwide, but especially in Germany and the countries bordering the Baltic Sea. Dealing with restricted weapons, old armaments and improvised explosive devices in the maritime area poses organisational and technical challenges for the players involved, which we want to address as part of a professional exchange of experts between science, industry and the navy. In dialogue with specialists We are therefore looking forward to discussing innovation topics such as low-signature propulsion systems, modern detection systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and biotechnological delaboration together with the specialists of the Operational Flotilla 1 and the Naval Innovation Team of the German Maritime Institute on Friday, 26 June 2020.
