The HNLMS Holland has only been in the Caribbean since May, but the results are already impressive. The Japanese landing ship Shimokita was able to train with US units for two days. In the Philippine Sea, the 8900-ton displacement Osumi-class ship joined the Americans to practice various manoeuvres and procedures on a binational level. Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) wird beim Conceptual Design des neuen Flugzeugträgers CVX für die Marine Südkoreas mit Fincantieri zusammenarbeiten. Die jetzt gezeichnete Vereinbarung sieht die Entwicklung des Basic Designs für das Typschiff ab der zweiten Hälfte des Jahres 2021 vor, während Detaildesign und der Bau in den folgenden Jahren beginnen sollen.
