On 14 October, Major General Gert Nultsch, Vice President of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw), presented the prize for military history and the history of military technology at a colloquium for young researchers in military history at the University of Potsdam, accompanied by music from the Bundeswehr Music Corps. On Thursday, 21 October 2021, the minehunting boat "Bad Bevensen" will leave its home port of Kiel at 10 am. The boat will be part of NATO's Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 (SNMCMG 1) for the coming months. She replaces the "Homburg", which had already left Kiel on 14 July. Not nice weather in Eckernförde, but a nice day for the crew of U 35 and their families. The submarine "U 35", under the command of Corvette Captain Oliver Brux (34), returned from the EU operation "Irini" at 10.00 a.m. on the dot.
