Babcock International will continue to service the Marine Rotating Electrical Machinery for the next ten years. This was announced today by the British Ministry of Defence. The contract is worth £45 million over its lifetime. It covers the servicing of equipment already in service with the Royal Navy. This includes all generators supplying low voltage power to a platform, associated regulators, motors for critical infrastructure such as pumps and controls and propulsion motors for submarines.
