Arctic Sentry: NATO bundles its northern flank presence

With „Arctic Sentry“, NATO shifts the security of the Arctic and the High North up a gear on 11 February 2026.

Under the leadership of Joint Force Command Norfolk in Virginia, the operation, which has been designated as a multi-domain activity, is intended to bring together the growing individual measures of the allies in the region - from major Norwegian manoeuvres to Danish and Canadian-American activities within the framework of NORAD.
