Ende Juni fand das alle zwei Jahre abgehaltene multinationale Manöver Rimpac auf und in den Gewässern um Hawaii statt. Mit dabei waren erstmals Schiffe der Deutschen Marine. An der von der US Navy geführten Übung Rimpac 2024 nahmen insgesamt 29 Nationen mit rund 25 000 Personen teil.
