Vor 90 Jahren wurde das italienische Segelschulschiff Palinuro auf Kiel gelegt Manche Fischereifahrzeuge haben einen erstaunlichen Werdegang. Zu ihnen gehört die Palinuro der italienischen Marine, eine Schonerbark oder Barkentine. 1933 auf der Werft Anciens Chantiers Dubigeon im französischen Nantes auf Kiel gelegt und im Folgejahr unter dem Namen Commandant Louis Richard vom Stapel gelaufen, trieb sie ihren Auftraggeber Joseph Briand, Präsident der französischen Société des Pècheries Malouines, in den Bankrott, bevor sie überhaupt zu ihrem ersten Einsatz auslaufen konnte.
