This Refuelling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) is scheduled about halfway through the planned service life of an aircraft carrier to make it fit for the next decades. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) participated in the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) exercise "Unmanned Integrated Battle Problem" (UxS IBP 21) from 21 to 26 April 2021. The US State Department has approved the sale of six additional P-8I maritime patrol aircraft to India. The transaction could take place as part of a foreign military sale and would be worth 2.4 billion dollars. The Australian destroyer Sydney has fired an Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) for the first time. The Hobart-class ship is currently undergoing Combat System Trials off the American coast. HMAS Sydney is the third and final ship of the class and was commissioned in May 2020. Her design is based on the type F 100 from the Spanish shipyard Navantia.
