50 years ago now, a journey began that not only influenced the course of our German Navy - and later the German Navy - but also strengthened the connection between active and former naval officers through a unique medium - our marineforum. Today, in 2024, we proudly look back on half a century of commitment, discussion and professional exchange. This anniversary not only marks a milestone for marineforum itself, but also for the German Maritime Institute as its publisher, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
