As part of a joint amphibious exercise in the south of the country near Toulon, France's Marine Nationale and Armee de Terre tested what a dozen or so companies offer in the way of commercially available drones, and how these devices are suitable for solving military problems or could be modified for such purposes. In the landing and landing defence scenarios, flying, walking and floating robots were used in reconnaissance, defensive and combat modes, as well as in the aftercare of troops. After "Wildfire" in September 2024, "Dragon Fury" was the second of these exercises, which is now set to become a permanent fixture. The background to this is that material from the first exercise was already convincingly demonstrated on board the next frigate sent to the Red Sea and deployed without this "defence material" having to undergo any testing or qualification phase. Just do it - technology today is developing faster than a conceptual designer can turn paper black!
