With the "marineforum" print and online service, we want to fulfil our aim of covering the many aspects of German maritime interests, the technical and industrial resources of the economic area and the relevant security policy of our state as comprehensively as possible.

Launched in January 2021, we have Goal setto reach a broad public interested in the maritime sector and to take maritime information work in German-speaking countries to a new level. We are convinced that we will arouse interest with active reporting and provide the necessary educational work with factual background information. We will also contribute in a modest way to the maritime message through the loyalty of our readership. Overcoming widespread "sea blindness" We see it as our task to contribute to a better public image.

marineforum.online as our internet portal is edited by recognised experts from the marine and shipping industry and from sources that have made a name for themselves in the industry: First and foremost, the print editorial team of marineforum with its authors and editors, the experts of the German Maritime Expertise Network, as well as the blog "meerverstehen" and the young Naval Innovation Team. They are based on the Deutsches Maritimes Institut e.V. (DMI) as a partner and part of the Marine-Offizier-Vereinigung e.V. (MOV).

With your contribution you actively support this maritime public relations work. At the same time, you benefit from the advantages that our German-language platform offers in a unique way with its "unique content":

- You can be sure of a qualified specialist readership.
- You achieve reach with assured public trust.
- They rely on a high level of maritime engagement in the target group.
