Interview with Corvette Captain Victoria Kietzmann. A rainy summer's day at the naval technical school. In the afternoon hours, calm returns to the teaching group leadership. It is the first few days after the recruitment of new recruits. The commander describes her job, compared to her previous role as head of inspection, as a task that requires more wide-angle vision but still needs a high level of depth of focus.

It is important to keep an eye on the big picture. A workload that is different. Spending time with the troops during field training is unfortunately too rare, and staff work ensures a full diary during normal working hours.
