On Monday, 2 March 2026, the supply and transport squadron of Naval Air Wing 3 handed over the proceeds of a Fundraising campaign in favour of the Cuxhaven-Bremerhaven Children's Hospice. The collection for charity goes to the hospice's outpatient services. „Many of the members of the supply and transport squadron grew up or settled here in the area, have children themselves and have donated this proud amount together with a lot of heart and passion, because every smile counts.

We are pleased to be able to make a small contribution with our donation to give the young fighters, but also their families, a bit of confidence and a smile here in the hospice," says Squadron Commander Frigate Captain Anne K. The financial support of Naval Air Wing 3 is a sign of the squadron's appreciation and close ties with the hospice.
